It's amazing what your mind recognizes

I've been trying to put the pain in my fingers out of my head for a while now. All of the test results are negative for arthritis so that is good news, but the pain is still there, just as bad as ever. Anyway, last night I dreamt that I kept picking toothpicks out of my hands like slivers. And it hurt like hell in my dream. Vivid too. Ouch. If it wasn't so scary, I might want to learn more about the symbolism, but dreaming it once was enough!
