Kelly usually makes a post like this around Thanksgiving. I've been wanting to do one for a long time, but right now seems perfect, dealing with what we are dealing with. While my heart is hurting by letting go, I'm going to refocus.
A - apricots While I was growing up, my nana had a huge apricot tree. Apricot jelly is my favorite. Apricot fruit is my favorite fruit. Whenever I taste apricots, butter and toast, I remember being a kid.
B- bananas I'm not a huge fan of bananas and neither is Ivy. But I will eat them. The boys in this family really like bananas. I'm grateful for bananas in that they are so good for you and so easy to serve. Handing over a banana for a snack makes me feel like a good mom.
C-colored pencils I just bought some colored pencils by Crayola called Twistables. They twist so you never have to sharpen them. Their color is great! I've been using them from the day that I bought them along with just regular #2 pencils for my sketch book. They are really fun.
