A Saga of Bridesmaid's Dresses

My xstepmom is one of the coolest brides that I've ever come into contact with. She told all of us girls that we would go shopping for dresses and since the wedding is informal, we could each pick whatever we wanted to wear. In whatever style and whichever color. No stress.

On the ride out of town to the bridal shop, we started looking through some brides magazines to get ideas. There are companies now that have a line of dresses that are all in the same "family" and can be ordered in a variety of colors. We thought that there would be no way that we could all get the same dress since 2 of us have 4 kids between us and tried to nurse them all. The other 2 are soccer stars. Curvy and athletic builds.

But, lo and behold, after searching for the perfect dresses, we all decided to wear the above dress in different colors. Since the above dress is available in 20 colors, we were at the shop for about 3 hours before we had the measurments taken and the info for the order all entered into the computer.

On our way out, my xstepmom stops in front of a poster and says, "Oh, this is really cute!" An hour later we all had a different dress in a different color! A total of 4 hours, but it was done. The new dress is perfect. Much more perfect than the one above. And of course, the website won't let me link or transfer the photo of the new dress! So, you'll get to see the new dress and the new hair after this weekend, but it will be worth the wait!

That is so cool that you all ended up with the same style, even though you didn't have to!

What color did you choose??

That dress is absolutely gorgeous! What color did you get? Don't you just LOVE an empire waist???

Love to you today, dear one.
