My adorable little son is infatuated with the computer. Many times I have found him standing on my computer chair just pounding away with many open windows and such. Since I'm never really working on anything too important, I just shut down the computer and restart.
Well, after Mr. Bec's computing last night, I signed on to find out that I no longer have any saved folders on my computer! I have calls in to some of my tech friends to see if they can be salvaged.
At this point, I have lost:
Every condolensce email about my dad
Every welcome home email for bec
Every receipt from items online that I've ordered
Every recipe that I wanted to try
And all of our booklist 2006 correspondence!
So, there will not be a booklist for this year! I'll still try to get my pics out, but I lost all of your recommendations. This is what I was working on for today! Ah well, keep your recommendations for 2007. If you want to resubmit any books to share, I'll just forward your list to everyone.
I really have to learn to push my chair in!

See! Our parents had it made. The worst things we did as children were to pull every single tissue out of the box and to put all of mom's makeup on our faces.
So sorry.
I love the book Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver. It's one of my fave fiction books.
Sugar Bear has done some interesting things to my computer over the years too. I'm hoping you find a way to recover your folders!
OH NO!!Josh and now Katelyn's do some intresting things to my computer. Josh started earlier like Bec,and he's a whiz on it now.

OH, crud!! I hope you can find them again. They have to be in there somewhere. It's just a matter of finding out where they went.
Good luck! I agree with piesbonitos...I'd sit down and cry! For a little while. Even if it doesn't help.
Anna did some damage when she was a toddler too, I feel your pain!
