Today was such a nice day

You know, there is something that I like about spring. Rain! By this afternoon it was all dark and cloudy and looking like it was about to storm. Although it did rain and wind for a bit, it didn't unleash like I thought that it would. It was very refreshing weather, along with being cozy as well. My pansies look awesome in these cool temps but my primroses are done for the year.

Also about today. I think that we may have hit upon a sort of compromise about my sleeping situation. Last night Bec was up and down about 6 times and Iwas so tired this morning. I had Chris take the kids into school on his way to work (it is right along his route) and then I went back to bed.

For awhile I've been trying to nap while they are at day care, but I wake up more tired it seems. I have always been a person who needs a ton of sleep to function, so I thought that naps would be a quick fix while the kids are little. But today, I think that we hit on the solution.

I woke up at 7 to bathe the kids, feed them and get them dressed. Chris has to leave the house around 8 so I have to have all of that done by the time he leaves to give him time to take them. After everyone was bundled into the car with kisses and wishes for a good day, I headed back to the bedroom. I had slept on the couch or the living room chair all night. I then slept until about 1030.

And then I was awake! Ready for my day. I've never been a morning person or a night person. Kind of a middle of the day person. And I got so much done today. I know that it is the beginning of the week, where I always have some energy, but I'm really hopeful about this. If we can continue this schedule, we will save a little on gas with only Chris driving that direction in the morning. AND I'll be able to work at my optimum cycle of the day. I sure hope that this will work out.

Regardless, today was wonderful. I hope that you all had a productive Tuesday!
