If this isn't a parenting post title, I don't know what is!
Bec has been interested in the potty for months now but didn't seem too interested in actually using the potty. He likes trying to wash his hands, splash, brush his teeth and flush his huge Lightening McQueen down the toilet. His diaper schedule is pretty regular so I've been trying to catch him to use the toilet instead of his diaper for a couple of weeks. No dice.
Until today!!! He is so funny when I"m taking him into the bathroom. At the top of his lungs he yells, "Becken's turn!! BECKEN's TURN" "Sissy, Potty! Becken!" And this kid is loud. Right in my ear. Then he sits there, laughs, tries to put his hands in the water behind him, tries to fall in.
Today he went big potty and little potty in the toilet. I put his diaper back on him making a huge fuss over him and he just acted like, "What's the big deal, ma? I'm a big boy."
I'm going to have serious baby cravings if I don't have to do diapers anymore. What in the heck will I do with my extra time?

Yay for Becken!
Connor is just starting to use the potty too. He'll be 3 in February. How old is Bec?
Go Becken, Go Becken! I am so excited for you (and super jealous!). W. is interested in the potty too, but I haven't caught him at the right time yet! hooray!

oh, i'm sure you'll be able to figure out something. :o)
You go Bec! I am excited beyond words for you on this milestone! And JEALOUS! Don't forget jealous. Princess Poopie Pants is not interested in anyway to move to big girl potty land. So stinky poo diapers continue for me. I guess I need to just get more adept at figuring it out before it happens vs AFTER it has happened....
I'm still learning I guess.
Way to go, BIG BOY!
