I'm sick. And not in the cool way either. More like cold/flu sick. But then again, I am sick in the cool way, even if I'm sick in the icky way as well. At least I've got my self-love.
It was the weirdest thing. I was driving home from an errand last night and in between one stop light and the next, my throat started to hurt. Just that fast.
I felt icky still when I woke up, but not enough to cancel my day. Until my day got underway and I had a new symptom every hour.
Want a run down on my feeling run down?
sore throat
sore ear
red/runny eyes
drippy nose
freezing temp. (I've had 3 scalding baths)
and every joint hurts. Like even the finger joints in my hands! I've never had this before. Envision a joint, any bone articulation that you can think of. Got it? Yep, that hurts.
headache
my teeth hurt
my fingernails hurt
My family is running kid interference and I canceled my appts thru Monday. The team so far includes my mom, her assistant, my spa partner, my sister and my niece. Then my brother for about 15 minutes, then Chris is home for the weekend. Thankfully they all rescheduled! I need the money. Just a tiny downside to being self employed.
My Meds (for the ickiness)
ibuprofen
zicam (If you ever need zicam, don't get the spray that I got. It is disgusting. Go with the nose swipes.
hot cider/hot juice (16 ozs so far)
1/4 of a container of ramen. Anything hot.
Hot water 4 oz
My microwave hot pack
I'll probably be back on later, since I've been sleeping and it will come around to bite me with insomnia sometime.
I texted Chris this morning with this:
"I'm SICK! I have a fever. I need a prize."
I did have a cool hallucination coming out of one of my naps. I was waking up and I saw a sparkly bird's next filled with pink and red rose petals flying to my bed. When the nest got over me, the petals turned into eggs. Pretty neat huh?
Please, let's not let the kids get this!! I'm going to hibernate into one room then do sanitation detox when Ifeel better. I saw Ivy earlier and I let her wave to me from the door.

So sorry you are sick.
I sent you an email with my AIM.
Eek, that sounds like a doozy! Thinking of you, and glad your clients all reschedules. I totally hear you on the self-employment thing and know how bad it feels to have to take an unexpected day off (or even a planned one for that matter).
HUGS
