Well, it isn't even dark here and our night is winding down. No fireworks for us, with 2 little ones. And goodness, is it hot! The last reading I saw said 105! And our A/C is out until tomorrow. And I'm still in a good mood? What's going on?
Through odd events Chris ended up watching his 6 year old cousin today, so I was totally off the hook kid wise. I had warned Chris that I was planning on sitting on the couch, watching the 16 back to back episodes of Law and Order for my Independence Day plans. If he wanted to do something, great. If he wanted to do something with the kids, even better! So, he was Mr. Mom today, taking kids to the park, to BK, and later on, to a BBQ at his dad's house. I was able to see my kids on and off so I got my baby fixes without having to miss them all day. I think that today was an example of when people say that they want joint custody without a divorce! It was heaven. I went on my walk, went to my nephew's All star game and to Target and the grocery store.

Happy 4th to you too! Sounds like you had a good day. Don't you LOVE the back-to-back episodes of L&O? I love them too. I celebrated the 4th with a CSI marathon. Love it too! :)
It is hot here too... ugh.
