Every year I try to put out a book list for all of my reader friends. This year had some sort of anti-book-list feel going on, so I'm super behind with the whole project. Carrie over at Mountain Railway got me thinking about it again today, so here is my list for 2006. The ones that I liked have a star (*) and the ones I loved have a heart ♥ My favorite of the year is marked with both. I didn't keep track of the authors, but if you need to know the name, just let me know and I'll get it to ya.

PS. My class totally sucked! I was so bored out of my mind. She did give us some websites to check out that might be sort of useful at some point. I'll pass them along if they turn out to be good.

I think best title should go to "How My Breasts Saved the World."

you didn't like The Mermaid Chair? that's been on my To-Be-Read list for a while. you also didn't like The Devil Wears Prada? i thought it was quite funny. i've enjoyed all the Harry Potter books, and my daughters and i are looking forward to reading the new one this month!

I'm glad you post a list of your favorite books. The one that interests me is the 1000 Days in Tuscany. I was also wondering about the Mermaid Chair.

Thanks again for the list.
