At the recommendation of a counselor that I went to years ago, I consulted an astrologer. One thing that has rang very true from her reading was that my actual "sign" in a Cancer, instead of my birth sign of Aries. When I talked to my mom about this, she was the one that brought up that I was supposed to actually be born under Cancer, but was born very early, hence the Aries.
