I debated on posting this pic, but it is a fave, even though it kills me. It is a photo of me holding my dad's hand on his deathbed. The last pic of my dad and me, ever. I'm sad now, but I'm glad to share it. His poor hand looks like a skeleton hand. I hate cancer.

Thanks for the email. I wrote you back about what's up. This picture goes well with it.
Isn't it ironic that some of the most beautiful things in our lives are also a bit bittersweet and painful as well? What a beautiful and poignant picture. Thank you for being kind and selfless enough to share it with us today.
Blessings to you, dear.
xo,
Karen Beth :)
That picture is absolutely beautiful. A picture truly can speak a thousand words.
I am so broken hearted for your loss.
I hate cancer too. But you already know that. It's a thief, and I wish I could beat the heck out of it.
Karen Beth said it so well. That's my thoughts too. Thanks for sharing this moment with us.
You know I hate any kind of sickness too!
Karianne, it is a beautiful and touching photo , and at the same time it holds such a painful memory of the loss of your father.
I am so sorry for your loss.

Karianne, I have come back to this picture probably 10 times.. and each time I have been brought to tears and didn't know what to write to you. I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful picture, and I'm so honored to be a part of the little group here that you call friends.
I'm so sorry for your loss of your daddy.. living life without him seems so unfair. I will pray for your peace and for God's love to surround you and that the memories of your father to keep your heart filled with joy until you meet again.
With love,
