Fun!

My feet are killing me. I have a headache. My back hurts. All signs of a very successful prom nite! As I was looking around last night at all of the partyers, I kept thinking, "No matter what anyone says, we know how to have fun!"

Pictures will be done in about a week, and so will all of the accounting, but from initial estimates, we should be able to meet our goal and then some, along with paying me back for the hall rental and some of the expenses. I'm very pleased with this info on all fronts.

Reports back to myself and prom committee were that the night was a fun time for all. I know that Chris and the kids are tuckered out today. We've had requests for a yearly party with various charities represented, so that is something to think about. But most of all, it made for great memories. And we all looked amazing! Some of the pics are just going to crack you guys up!

The hall rental folks are pretty old. They were so nice when we came in for the walk through. They let us in to decorate on Fri. and Sat. morning. They let us come in to clean up before 12 today. They popped in a few times to check on us last night and this morning. They said that the party looked like a lot of fun and that they would like to hire us as clean up crew sometimes in the future. They also said that we are welcome back anytime. I was very happy with that. I left them a thank you note that if they ever needed any help to give us a call and we would be happy to help. Just the thought of those older people stacking those chairs and moving tables makes me cringe. I can just imagine that some people just leave their deposit and leave the mess for the owners to clean up. In fact, when we were signing papers, the guy mentioned that they really like to give deposits back as they are just too old to come in and clean anymore.
