If any of you watch Gilmore Girls, how about tonight's episode? Should I get my hopes up?
Bec is doing great. I am feeling so much better. Ivy is now sickly, up from 4-630 this A.M. saying that her ear hurt. Well, she slept in until about 10 and has been fine since. No ear mention at all. A tiny temp this evening but she is doing much better than I thought.
We ran errands today and I bought a new kitchen rug for the area in front of the sink and a matching dish towel to hang on the stove. Our kitchen is a red color and the rug/towel have dark red, orange, and yellow daisys on it. (One large flower of each color with a bordering floral at the top and bottom) I mentioned a few posts back that I have found a Romantic Home magazine that I have been addicted to. I realized that ever since Chris moved in here years ago, I have been trying to make him feel more comfortable (this was my house to begin with, purchased with my ex) so I've let him make most of the decor choices. Not that I don't love them, and the style is more "us" but I'm missing touches of me. My own style. Which is more feminine/Victorian/country than his style. I'm all for compromises, but these little touches in the kitchen today have made me so happy. I'm realizing that there is room for all of it. His, mine, ours and the kids. The floral rug, the black and stainless steel appliances, and the stickers and paint spills.

So true, glad you can find a happy medium! :D
Buying something to brighten a room always makes me feel better too. The colors sound very cheery.
