Still going through my dad's belongings, my mom came across his billfold and his wallet. My brother took the billfold and is now using it. My sis and I are going to share the wallet. And the photos in it? Pics of us kids from over 25 years ago! Becken's orphanage photo. Photos of my mom. And he was such a pack rat. (Not that you could tell from the stuff we acquired :( So sad. Anyway, old business cards with his handwriting on the back. I was on cloud 9 all day and showed everyone. I kept it close to my heart all day too. It is priceless. My friend Karina was in today and when I was showing her she said, "This is hard." Yes, it is. Harder than I ever thought. If I can scan in some of the pics to somewhat recognizable, I'll post them.
Chris was finally put on his own route this week which is what we have been working towards for a couple of years. And. This is the BEST!! NO MORE SATURDAYS!! I am so excited to have an extra set of hands on Saturday to wrangle Ivy to dance class. He used to have every 3rd Saturday off and I would really have a cow when he went golfing for the day. Now, I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Yes, Karina still hasn't had the babies. But she is being induced tomorrow if my reflexology treatment didn't do the trick this morning. She has to go in at 6 a.m. Prayers for my friend and the twins tomorrow please. I'm kind of worried but really don't have a reason to be.

That is hard! I bet you still have mixed feelings when you go through his stuff, huh?
My husband's dad was a pack rat, he had back up coffee machines, microwaves, vacuums... that people had given him over the year.lived in his mother's house because he had taken care of her for 15 years because she had alzheimers... she was the worst pack rat I had ever seen.
We had to go through boxes and boxes of stuff in a short period of time because the house had to be sold to pay his medical bills... did I metion my husband is a pack rat too? He wanted to keep nearly everything. So now, we have boxes and boxes of his dad's and grandma's stuff, added to our boxes and boxes of stuff, LOL!
