Chris and I spent our evening celebrating the birth of our now 11 (holy smokes) year old nephew. I was thinking back to his birth, walking with my sis in law Tee up and down the halls of the hospital. Her doc had induced her at her request, early and when he was born he was five something pounds. My mom and I were so pissed at the doc for letting Tee go early, she was fifteen years old at the time, by the way, and when he was so small, we were really pissed. But he was small and perfect and had the absolutely most pathetic cry I have ever heard. Even as I remember it, I can get tears in my eyes it was so heartbreaking.
Today he is 11. And still perfect and still amazing.
